Masterpiece Match Challenge: Bring home The Hold Up!

 

In the fall of 2019, the C.M. Russell Museum was presented a transformative opportunity to bring home two major Russell masterworks, as well as adding $6M to the endowment. Thanks to the generosity of Tom and Jane Petrie, who issued this Match Challenge, and the leadership gift of Ian and Nancy Davidson, the museum is proud to announce we have secured the first Russell masterwork: Death of a Gambler.
